Eco-friendly Printing Solutions

Impact Displays has applied for certification under the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (www.sgppartnership.org) and we're committed to reducing our impact on the environment. We offer a family of eco-friendly media solutions that will give your exhibit the same presence but cause less harm to the environment than traditional displays. And we're committed to offering products that have real environmental advantages, not just good marketing spin. So you won't see us re-labeling our aluminum displays as eco-friendly, just because (it's true) that aluminum can be recycled.

Our eco-friendly solutions target the most disposable part of the display solution - the graphics. We offer a diverse line of eco-friendly printing materials and printer technologies that combine recycled materials, enhanced decomposable materials and eco-friendly printing. The result is a great display solution with significant environmental benefits.

Eco-banner. Our eco-friendly banner material is made of recyclable PVC with enzyme additives that enable it to decompose in a typical landfill (anaerobic) environment. Typical PVC banner material is not biodegradable in a landfill environment. Eco-banner has the same feel and texture of a typical PVC banner. We print Eco-banner using eco-solvent (low VOC) inkjet printing.

Eco-weave. Our Eco-weave material is perfect for indoor or outdoor displays, banners and signage. Compared to a traditional PVC banner material, it uses 50% less raw materials, 80% less energy and 100% less VOC during production. We print Eco-weave using eco-solvent (low VOC) inkjet printing.

Eco-celtic Fabric. Our Eco-celtic fabric is made of 65% post-consumer recycled polyester - typically from recycled soda bottles. In addition to using recycled materials, Eco-celtic reduces the amount of energy required to process a yard of fabric by 40,000 BTUs (one-third of a gallon of gasoline) when compared to standard, virgin polyester. We recommend using Eco-celtic indoors for backdrops, graphic wall panels, etc. We print Eco-celtic using a dye sublimation process.

Eco-board. Our alternative to traditional foam or PVC board substrates is Eco-board, a backing made of 50% post-consumer recycled materials. Eco-board is free of PVC and is completely recyclable. Eco-board is perfect for indoor or outdoor applications and is printed using UV-cured inks (zero VOC process).

Eco-core. Our Eco-core material is perfect for indoor panels. It is made 92% post-consumer recycled paper and is completely recyclable. We print Eco-core with eco-friendly (low VOC) ink or UV-cured inks (zero VOC process).
